The activity is interactive and constitued of one or several workshops to make you learn new things by participating actively (planting a tree, seeding, learning to regognize fruits trees and spices...).
In Finca la Canopea we try to restore an ecosystem to give the living back its right place. I'll share with you the implemented technics to regenerate the soil, strive against the drought and recreate biodiversity where it had disappeared.

I am Pascal, I have basis in forestry and obtained the permaculture design course diploma in 2008. During several years I worked for NGOs such as Greenpeace and WWF where I've learnt a lot about different topics in the field of nature conservation.
I've been living in Tenerife since 2011 and I am co-founder of Finca la Canopea permaculture project. After travelling in numerous countries looking for the ideal place, I finally decide to settle down in Los Silos to develop the project of my dreams. On a nearly deserted land, we're creating step by step an oasis that will be a subtropical heaven hosting every possible an inimaginable variety of fruit trees and other edible plants. Follow the guide, I'll share with you my passion about it!

About the organisation: Asociación educativa Escuelita Natura

Escuelita Natura Association has been created by a group of families wishing to offer a different education to our children. We believe that children need to grow in the nature and want to experiment the world by themselves, on an active way. Adults just need to give them a chance!

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Asociación educativa Escuelita Natura.

Where you'll be

The experiences takes place on our land situated just alongside the little village of Los Silos (northern coast), at the foot of Teno rural park. It's a natural space in a beautiful setting, half protected, where we create an oasis finding our inspiration in the permaculture principles and ecological farming. You will discover a land that was nearly deserted when we started being slowly transformed in an edible forest.

très bonne expérience que je recommande. Pascal est très pédagogue et s'adapte à nos attentes. Un accueil chaleureux dans un bel îlot de verdure. Et un petit snack fruité à souhait pour accompagner le tout. merci!

Great introduction to permaculture from Pascal and it see it all first hand is amazing. Such an eye opening experience and we even planted a tree! It’s definitely given us some inspiration for our own garden. Would highly recommend this.

On recommande vivement ! ;)

Eine wunderbare Entdeckung. Pascal brachte mir auf interaktive und motivierende Weise die Grundlagen der Permakultur bei. Praktische Übungen und Verkostungen inklusive.. Absolut zu empfehlen!
