What you'll do
Learn how to safely identify wild, native BC edibles with a local wildcraft guide and professional chef. We'll search for native plants and wild berries, edible trees, shoots and leaves in the spring and summer, wild mushrooms in fall. This easy walk is great for food lovers, hikers and survivalists. Everything you need to know to safely gather, prepare and cook the unique flavours found only in the Pacific Northwest. Fiddleheads, licorice fern, big leaf maple flowers, nettles, mushrooms and wild camomile to name a few.

Where you'll be
Come with me into the forests and meadows of BC in search of tasty treats. Our meeting spot will vary depending on what time of year it is, always within Vancouver. I'll email the guests the week before to confirm. Our short walk will take us and through the wilds in search of edible treasure.
Things to keep in mind
Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests must dress for the weather, rain jacket and good walking shoes, weather proof if it's rainy out. Wear layers is a good rule of thumb.
Please note that this is a identification walk only. We aren't allowed to pick plants in BC Parks. Bringing a notepad and camera is helpful if you want to remember specific edibles. Byo snacks/water
