About your host
I'm Alessandra, a writer, an Art Historian and Heritage manager. Since 2008, I live and work in Milan, where I promoting special event and published books about hidden's places & beauty as well as history, architecture, curiosity and nature in Milan. In 2016 I've devised an ambitious project devoted to founding fathers of Design, which involved all the most important institutions of the city.

In 2016 I promoted a project devoted to the founding fathers of design in Milan. From this experience came the idea of conceiving this itinerary. We will learn about life and works of two of them, creators of objects that are still a subject of worship after half a century. We will discover how ARCO lamp by Achille Castiglioni was designed in 1962, and still produced by Flos since that time; or…

Where you'll be
We will visit the Achille Castiglioni studio, where his sons will tell us how his design objects were conceived. We will have a relaxing break and snack at the Triennale Caffè, host inside Triennale Design Museum. We will end the trip at Vico Magistretti Foundation, greeted by his nephew.
