What you'll do
We will explore the Tuscan countryside on a walk that brings together the shapes, colors, sounds, smells, and flavors in a sensorial dialogue between the internal and external. Walking among the olive groves surrounding the former church of San Bernardo, we will first listen to our inner selves—to be present with and feel at one with ourselves. Opening our senses to the environs, we will discover the Tuscan landscape and its traditions, starting with our own observations that allow us to deeply connect with nature. Our experience will convey a sense of peace, balance, and reconciliation with the land. We will observe the spontaneous flora and fauna of the region as it changes with seasons: anemones, daffodils, officinal plants, fruit trees (peaches, figs, pears, and walnuts), olives trees, cypresses, oaks, elms, roe deer, squirrels, and more. Our walk ends with a delight for the palate as we savor the authentic flavors of our land: organic olive extra virgin olive oil from the adjacent Poderino farm drizzled on traditional Tuscan bread, seasonal fruit from our trees, herbal teas and fresh juices!
Bianca and Andreas live with their three children in the enchanting former church of San Bernardo, where they give life to their passions: art, culture, movement, education, well-being, awareness and respect for their surroundings. Bianca and Andreas renovated the ancient church using the principles of bio architecture and energy savings.

Where you'll be
Bianca and Andreas will pick you up in the ancient square of the nice village of Antella. After a 15 minutes walk (1 km), they will welcome you to their home—the former church of San Bernardo and the surrounding olive groves—in the outskirts of Florence. Built in 1400, San Bernardo was where local peasants brought their cattle and crops to be blessed. Bianca and Andreas renovated it using the principles of bio architecture and energy savings.
