What you'll do
During this workshop you'll create your own perfume blend based on your experience of Amsterdam. For example, it could be inspired by the fresh scent inhaled on a bike ride through the Dutch polder, or the intense aroma of the old cargo ships that used to bring spices from all over the world to Amsterdam. You'll learn about the history of perfume, methods of extraction, and the future of synthetic fragrances. You'll go home with a 10ml bottle of your own signature perfume, and its scent will remind you of your time in Amsterdam.

I studied fine arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. I'm fascinated by scents and smells. In 2016, I started my own perfume brand and opened a perfume shop and scent laboratory.

Where you'll be
The Snifferoo perfume workshop is located in a the western part of the city, close to the Rembrandt Park.
It is located in a schoolbuilding that is temporarily transformed into a lively building that houses artist studio's and a restaurant.

Guest requirements
Up to 8 guests ages 14 and up can attend.
When you have an allergy to perfume you are not allowed on the workshop.
Frank owns a very friendly small dog, that might be present at the workshop.
