What you'll do

Guests will arrive at my house at 11a.m. and be welcomed with tea, coffee and a scone. (There is ample parking here). We will begin by introducing ourselves and identifying each participant's experience and genre of writing. If the weather is favourable we may go outside to view our garden. We will then sit down to write (in my large dining room) with myself as Facilitator offering writing prompts. Whether you wish to write poetry, fiction or just diairize your stay in Ireland, you will be provided with a supportive and encouraging environment in which to reveal your connection with nature. Time-permitting, those who wish to (this is not compulsory) can read out their work and receive feedback from the group as a whole. The event is scheduled to finish at 1p.m.
Other things to note
My house shares a postcode with Muxnaw Lodge B&B. Should satnav send you there please exit at the rear and turn right (mine is the next house on the right). I recommend the inspiring walk from town.

I love nature and am currently working on my second poetry collection dealing with nature and the environment. My poems have been published in literary journals in Ireland, The United Kingdom and The United States.

My first collection Peripheral was published in 2018. I won the Hanna Greally International Literary Award 2017 and the Robert Leslie Boland Prize 2018. I have been long listed for the Ireland's Own Short Story Competition 2017, the Brilliant Flash Fiction Prize 2015 and was highly commended for a Kerry Literary Award (for fiction) in 2015.

My experience with Faye was very valuable. I'm very excited about the writing that I produced from the session under Faye's coaching. She's warm, authentic and accomplished. I'm so glad I went. I highly recommend her to any level of writer.
