My name is Johnna (www.johnnaslaby.com) and I am an American national born and raised in Japan. I have been a professional artist in the Osaka area for three years and have been dabbling in sketches and abstract art since. I work in design and photography with my twin sister in Kansai. I have been living in the Ikoma area and love to share and discuss the history and beautiful art of Japan.

Ikoma, a city tucked in between Nara and Osaka is where we will have our art and tour adventure. We will begin with a hike until we reach the temple on the mountain. Documenting and sketching the experience along the way, your host will explain the area and the different aspects of the temple on the mountain. Ending with tea at the house/studio, we will discuss and share our findings together.
