What you'll do
Avoid the long lines and enter without waiting this unique museum with masterpieces from the second half of the XIX century, among which the french impressionists.
Learn all the secrets of the main artists from the XIXth century whose works are on show. Explore the influences and the individual styles of every artist such as Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cézanne or even Van Gogh.
Besides the discovery of some of the Masterpieces chosen for you, learn all about the techniques used by the impressionists and the post-impressionists. Dive in the heart of the birth of the impressionist movement, arisen from a small group of rebels which opened the way to this unique art. Your guide will give life to the turbulent personalities of the painters, describing how every artist dared to explore new territories and to pursue the success without compromise.
By going back in time, you will learn how these images and messages changed the art world forever. Believe it or not, the peaceful scenes of the rural and urban lives of the impressionist artists were absolutely shocking when there were painted.
Other things to note

Sylvanie was the perfect guide for our two trip around Musée D’orsay. She was incredibly knowledgable and accommodated the tour to our needs flirting between rooms with wonderful stories about the paintings and artists that brought this world to life and helped make many links we hadn’t necessarily thought about before. Sylvanie was passionate about the art and it’s history and very easy to get on with. Her English was first class and we couldn’t have enjoyed our time more. Amazing art. Amazing guide!

Sylvanie was friendly and helpful. It made all the difference to skip the line at first to go through the certified group tour line. When we were in some galleries that were a little crowded, other people were tagging along. Sylvanie is very kind and offered to give tips in visiting other places as well.
