What you'll do

Come and have a pottery experience and make your very own handmade mug! This pottery workshop can be delivered any day of the week (except Sundays) subject to availability. Booking for groups also available, Please message me to find out more. After a welcome tour of the studio and warm brew, I will demo throwing on the potters wheel. You will then get stuck in making your own mug/small pot. Practice makes perfect, so you will get to have enough throws to make your best mug! Once complete you can add a handle, and personalized stamp. Your finished vessel will then be glazed from a choice of colours & ready for collection around 4-6 weeks later (Optional p&p cost is extra). You will be able to make one mug to be fired. This is a rewarding and fun workshop that anyone can do, the perfect 'have a go' experience. The workshop lasts about an hour, larger groups will have extra time.

Where you'll be

The workshop is held in my studio which is a converted barn in a rural location just a stones throw away from Christchurch. The building itself is over 100 years old and was once part of a working farm. There are many local places of interest including the historic Christchurch Priory, plus plenty of country pubs for a bite to eat after your class.
