If you love PIZZA & WINE, this is the experience for you! Join Paul for a relaxed food & wine experience at Oven and Shaker. Paul will select 2-5 bottles (depending on group size) of local, small producer wines to pair with a Chef's selection of Neapolitan style wood fired pizza & Italian street foods all inspired by six-time James Beard nominated Chef Whims' many trips to Italy. This experience offers you the opportunity to taste several wines so you can decide the best pairings for your personal taste. As your host, Paul is there to chat about two of his favorite subjects - food & wine in the Portland area.

As the owner of Willamette Wine Concierge I love showing off our local wine & food with everyone, and enjoy how sharing a meal together allows you to create new friendships. I am a Certified Specialist of Wine, and have worked in the Oregon wine industry with several wineries, and a wine tour company for more than eight years. As a concierge I help people plan their wine & food trips to Portland & the Willamette Valley. I am also the tasting room manager at Winter’s Hill Estate & run their Vineyard Walk & Picnic experience.

Where you'll be
Oven & Shaker is inspired by six-time James Beard nominated Chef Whims' many trips to Italy, the kitchen at Oven and Shaker unites tradition and creativity in the arena of wood fired Neapolitan pizza and Italian street food. Adhering to Cathy’s legendary passion for detail, we use only the freshest available local ingredients, dough made in-house using our signature 70 year old sourdough starter, and hand-toss and fire each pizza.

Communication policy
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Guest requirements
Up to 5 guests ages 21 and up can attend.
You must have a government issued ID on you because alcohol is being served.
Government ID
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
