About your host

I’m the manager of CANOA BERLIN and a real paddling-enthusiast. I love showing people around my hometown by canoe. I’ve lived in Berlin for over thirty years and know the city’s hidden corners and varied communities. Seeing the city from the water is really special and I hope you’ll come and experience it with me.

Where you'll be

Kreuzberg, the rebellious soul of old West Berlin, is just south of the centre and well-connected to public transport. We’ll canoe the historic Landwehr canal which divides the city from west to east, taking in sights including the orthodox synagogue, the Lohmühle village, and the ‘Dreiländereck’.
