What you'll do

Join me on a truly unique bike ride and treasure hunt to one of NYC's most secret beaches. This beach isn't for swimming though because it's the location of a 19th and early 20th century garbage dump! Technically this place is an archaeological sight, and if you love to find sea glass and other oddities along the beach, this place is heaven! We'll look for marbles, prohibition era bottles, old toys and more! I'll provide the bikes and tools you need to treasure hunt, you provide the stamina to endure a long bike ride and some spending money for water and a nice picnic lunch! There are plenty of awesome things to see along the way, lets go!

I am someone who is inspired by the secret beauty in life that may go unnoticed by others who are caught up in the hustle and bustle of their routines. What's included

Equipment
Bikes and other equipment I should have bikes for most sized people! let me know if you have an size preferences!

Where you'll be

We will bike through Brooklyn and down to Floyd Bennett field. From there we'll turn off into a super awesome and secret park where we eventually end up at "glass bottle beach"/ Dead horse bay. This is a remote and unique place that is virtually inaccessible for most people and tourists. It's a magical side of NYC that is rarely seen and I'm happy to take you there!

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 4 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests must be able to endure a long bike ride. This is a workout and will be time consuming but well worth it!

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

More tips

Take the B or Q train to Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. We will meet near the train station to do some shopping while we wait for the other guests. It's a decent bike ride so be sure you're up for the task!
