What we’ll do

We'll ascend the Temescal Canyon Trail to Skull Rock, which provides a breathtaking overlook of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles. After taking in the views, we'll descend via Temescal Ridge Trail, which provides several great places to stop for photos of the coastal scenery. The trail loop is a moderately challenging 4.5 mile hike and with an elevation gain of about 1100 feet.

Bring at least 1.5 liters of water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hiking/athletic shoes, comfortable hiking clothes, and a camera.

Where you'll be

This hike will incorporate the Temescal Ridge Trail, Temescal Canyon Trail, & Skull Rock--which provide endless overlooks of the Pacific Ocean and the city of Los Angeles. Temescal Canyon Gateway Park is a popular location for locals and tourists alike to escape the hustle and bustle of L.A.

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Should be comfortable with a moderate 4.5 mile hike.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
