What you'll do

I invite you to join on this astronomical and stargazing adventure and share the magical night sky of Tenerife island from Teide National Park. We will be about 2000 meters over the sea level, which you may feel if you are not used to it. We will meet at the core of Teide National Park (no bus at night), starting the activity at night or sunset depending on the time of the year. The activity includes an entertaining interpretation of the sky, mixing astronomy and history as well as gazing by eye stars, planets and constellations.

#Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: Regular Group Activities in English, gathering in average 10 to 20 people. Easy night walk of 3km. Ideal for families, couples and friends which want to be inspired by nature doing a relax walk and having time to stop, seat and contemplate the night.

#Wednesdays: Small Group Activities in English, restricted to 6-8 people, minimum of 4 people. Easy to moderate trekking of 6 km. Ideal for trekker families, couples or friend groups that want to push a bit further through the night, mixing fun and challenge.

Thursdays are hosted by coworkers. Activities may be changed or cancelled depending on weather forecast. Lanterns are provided. If you wish to do a private activity, including the possibility of having a telescope observation, just ask me in advance.

Stargazing is a truly unique experience. It's a chance to see totally different Tenerife! Even if you have already visited the Teide National Park, visiting it in the night is still something special. The stars were magical. You don't have many chances to see the sky like that, especially if you live in a city. Thank you again, Adal, for showing it to us!

We had a wonderful time with Adal who is extremely knowledgeable and loves to share his passion about astronomy and astrophysics. He’s a very kind and warm person who made sure we all enjoyed the experience, welcomed all our questions and was always attentive. Despite weather conditions not being ideal it was a fun experience to walk by night in such a beautiful scenery, we definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had such a great time. Adal seamlessly mixed science and astronomy with cultural storytelling as it applies to the night sky. It was both educational and breath-taking. And he happens to be a super nice guy. This is a no-brainer - do it!
