What you'll do
Ride a bicycle thru beautiful Elmendorf Lake Park along with one of the cutest dogs you'll ever meet, Tchimba and Ludo! We will meet at a parking lot plaza (a block from the trail) to introduce our self's and for you to choose your bike ride buddy, pet him and receive instructions on how to ride with him or her. Depending on whom you choose is the experience you will enjoy. Tchimba is very obedient, and rides next to you fast or slow. Ludo is a little more energetic and requires more discipline; recommended if you want a faster, more adventurous ride. The ride is around 3.5 - 4 miles total, or a little longer if preferred. Half way, when we are at the park, we would stop to play with the dogs, hydrate, share a good conversation, and take pictures to make this experience unforgettable. After hanging out at the park we'll ride back to the meeting starting point. The time spent at the park depends on the time it takes us to get there. To wrap up, we will appreciate you for sharing your time with us, say bye bye, hoping you'll join us again for another ride and leave with a huge smile knowing we got a new friend.

Been bike riding with my dogs for more than year and a half, having the fortune to have shared rides with other people. They helped me appreciate what a unique fun experiences this is. Inviting me to keep sharing this lovely activity with more persons like you! I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and been living here for 12 years. The last two years we been hosting travelers; having the opportunity to explore and learn a lot about San Antonio. I can share the city in a very unique and interesting form, given my similarities with its culture, traditions, and history.
A mountain bicycle for you to ride. Nothing fancy, just the basics.
Helmet. For your security.

Where you'll be
Starting from the parking lot, we will head to a biking trail that is next to a river and nature, taking us to the beautiful Elmendorf Lake Park. In here we will find colorful, decorated benches, a beautiful lake, view and lanscape; with one of the oldest private universities here in San Antonio in the background. This park is unique and a must see, not very popular on the to do list while visiting San Antonio. But definitely worth visiting.
