What you'll do
We'll meet for lunch for an oral history of Harlem style, and I'll reveal the untold link between my experiences in Africa, the Harlem streets, & the years leading up to the opening of my boutique. Then, at an African market, we'll meet other world class designers and you'll have the opportunity to walk away with your very own dashiki, which is a colored shirt of West African origin.

We'll meet at one of my favorite restaurants, the world-famous Red Rooster. It's the perfect spot to experience the rich culinary traditions of Harlem. Then we'll move through the Harlem streets to a renowned African market to see apparel influenced by African design.
