We'll head to a relatively local speciality market to shop for some of our ingredients. Back at the house we'll prepare traditional Puerto Rican dishes, while learning about all of the historical influences that contributed to the creation of our distinct cocina criolla flavor. *NOTE*: Dishes are seasonal and most include meat. Traditional Puerto Rican coffee with light snack. Full lunch that you'll cook yourself and a sweet treat made ahead of time. Alcoholic drink to get you through the rigors of cooking!

Where you'll be

We'll be in cooking at my family home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. To shop, we'll be heading out to Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It's a different neighborhood that provides access to the types of ingredients we'll need to make our dishes.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests should be be able to eat an array of foods, as special accommodations such as gluten free, vegan, grain free, nut free, lactose free cannot be made.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.


This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
