What you'll do
Either myself or my co-host, Sylvia, will be your Airbnb experience guide. Allow us to present & show you historical insights of Germany’s darkest time in history. You'll get to experience the tour from a local's perspectives, who has been studying and working in Berlin for 5 years. In this walking tour, we'll be visiting areas that describe and define that infamous period. Experience the rise and fall of the Nazi regime, their atrocities and the aftermath of WWII, as well. See the Reichstag, the Holocaust memorial, Brandenburg Gate and other areas relevant to the history of this period of time. By the end of this tour, you will get a deeper understanding of Hitler's rise to power and the darkness that covered Germany during the WWII era. We hope to offer you a better and informative understanding on this subject.
Hi! We both have International Relations background and both having worked in a few of the governmental organizations and think tanks. Our passion is European history and culture. We have been living in Berlin for about 5 years now so it has afforded us many insights about Germany and local's perspectives. For a few years, we have been giving World War II tours to many visitors, informing them about the dark period on German history, but also welcoming them to this multicultural city that its known for its beauty and hidden gems.
