What you'll do
I curated this hike because it has the best of everything: natural creeks, ancient rock formations, forested trails, and bay and ocean views. We'll start with a locals-only dirt path to a 70-acre park, once an amusement park and zoo. We’ll then head up to soak in Twin Peaks' 360° views. Lastly, we’ll zen out in a eucalyptus forest and visit one last scenic hilltop before arriving in the Castro.

Where you'll be
We’ll meet in the Glen Park neighborhood and hike from Glen Canyon to the top of Twin Peaks. We’ll then descend past views of Sutro Tower, a eucalyptus forest, and Tank Hill. After going down a long stairway and the Seward Street slides, we’ll end in the Castro.
