What you'll do

Students will meet me at the Duke Kahanamoku Statue 15 minutes before we start our surfing lesson. From there we will get ready and learn the basics on land together. I will demonstrate everything first then have students practice what I demonstrated. Then we will all enter the water together. I will be the leader as I guide students out into the surf where every student will catch a wave with my help. Each student will stand and catch 5 or more waves (based on your skill level & learning curve) [health concerns/injuries may sometimes interfere with students ability to stand up] For those who are unable to stand on their own, the wave riding experience will still be available. After our lesson is done students will follow me back to shore where I will assist each student with exiting the water. All surf lessons are 1 hr. 15 min. long and can sometimes last a little longer.

Learn more about Zack

Zack

I started working with surf schools and the Waikiki Beachboys since I was 14 years old right here behind the Duke Statue where my experience takes place. My passion for surfing runs through my blood. I have been surfing myself since I was 4 years old. I truly love teaching people, its such a fun experience for you and me. I'm always making sure I create the perfect environment for you to learn in. In today’s Waikiki I always tell people it all comes down to who you pick to teach you. Everyone can teach but only few actually know what they are doing to cater to each person individually. (Please message me before booking children under the age of 10!!!)
