About your host
We (Patrick and Marlene) look forward to sharing our life's passions of art, nature & vegetarian cuisine with you. This experience is inspired by art workshops that we had been teaching for several years and the Open Your Art Retreats we host in Spain.
No painting or art experience necessary, just come with an open mind and a willingness to get a little messy!

What we’ll do
You will travel via Ferry to the Sunshine Coast (a gorgeous 45 minute cruise from Horseshoe Bay). We will go for a 1 hour walk in the West Coast rainforest. See the forest from an abstract painter's point of view!
We'll spend the rest of the afternoon in Marlene's studio (or in the garden) interpreting our adventure with paint. No painting or art experience necessary!

Wear comfy clothes (layers are best) and appropriate footwear for our walk in the woods. It would be best to wear play clothes! If you are a group of 6 and our dates don't work, please reach out!

We will explore our favourite trails in our neighbourhood forest!
Eat lunch overlooking the ocean and spend the afternoon in Marlene's art studio (or in the garden) exploring abstract painting techniques to create your own interpretation of your West Coast experience.

For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.
Communication policy
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Guest requirements
Up to 6 guests ages 10 and up can attend.
Please let us know if you have any medical conditions or injuries. Our meal is vegetarian but if you have specific food preferences or allergies, please let us know so that we can prepare for you.
