There is great adventure in meeting and talking with new people. Immersing yourself in their culture to learn about their music, food, history, lay of the land and more.

That is what "Mi love Di Peeple" walking tour is all about! For the people, by the people, this tour is for those who love the diversity of Humanity. During our tour, you will experience what it is to live like a local, shop like a local, speak Patwa like a local but most of all lime like a local!

We'll start our walk by grabbing a Delicious Ital Smoothie to keep us cool while we walk. We'll then explore 2 of the busiest streets in downtown MoBay while viewing more of the commercial operations & local vendors in the area and of course talk to Di Peeple! Next we will stop and enjoy an Authentic Jamaican Ital Sip or Yatty from Father Kush.

We'll then start to make our way to the Marketplace, a crowd favourite!. Filled with various fruits, vegetables , seeds, nuts, etc, this is Heaven for Natural & Veg Lovers! At the end, Mama Nov of the "The Pink Pub" will meet us with an ice cold Jamaican beer or drink of choice and your very own "Mi Luv Di Peeple" T-shirt. Its now time to rest and reflect upon Jamaican life n culture.

Peace & Love!

Mi love my people of Jamaica! I love the land and nature as well but I believe as people we are part Nature too. So I created this tour and experience to connect the Spirits of Peeple travelling with those that live and thrive here. I am a Medical Student here on the island and invite you to trust me to go outside the average tourist attraction n take a walk with me along the paths less trodden. Yes you can walk around by yourself in an unknown land but why would you want to do that? Come n hang with one of the coolest Caribbean gyals you will ever meet!

Happy 1 year anniversary to "Mi Luv Di Peeple" walking tours!! I thank each and every one of my guests who have trusted themselves to walk along the path less trodden. May 2020 give us an even greater experience! - ☀️Gloria

Charles Gordon Marketplace of local farmers, my favourite place to learn about local entrepreneurship , natural foods and lime with the people.
Mama Nov's "Vibez Lime" , is my favourite pub in the marketplace. Great people, drinks and stories! Not to mention a couple old school slot machines

This tour is a must when you’re visiting Jamaica. The host was so genuine and respected throughout the community. Get on your walking shoes and get ready to be immersed in the culture. Walk and talk amongst the locals and take as many pictures as you can. This isn’t something I would’ve done without Gloria and I’m glad I did. She was nothing short of amazing. I enjoyed every person I met. From going to the local bars to walking through and shopping at the market. I learned so much. I highly recommend you take advantage of booking this tour. Keep your mind open and enjoy the vibes!

Gloria was a fantastic hostess. We were driving downtown so she told us where to park and met us there instead. The experience was fantastic, we felt we really got to know the Jamaican people and we experienced things that we would never have done on our own. Gloria was was full of energy and it was infectious with all the people that we met . They all looked forward to seeing Gloria and were very authentic in meeting us and telling us a little bit about themselves. When we travel we like to get immersed in the culture to really understand the people and culture, this experience really hit the mark for doing that. Gloria was training a new hostess but it did not interfere with the experience what so ever and we ended up getting a longer tour and meeting even more people. We enjoyed a Red Stripe in a Gambling House, bought veggies at the market and were treated to an authentic Rasta meal in the heart of the busy downtown!

This tour was one of my favorite parts of my Jamaica trip! Gloria is an intelligent and kind person, and she really makes you feel welcome, and she is full of interesting information about the community. If you are tired of the regular touristy stuff and want to learn about the real community and culture then I highly recommend you spend some time with Gloria and sign up for this tour. You'll get to walk through the markets and areas that tourists don't often go & visit with locals, and you'll get a glimse in to the real life there in Mobay. I am very thankful for the experience and will definitely be back! :)

I had a great time on the walking tour with Gloria. It was like walking around the town with one of your friends. She knows a lot of people in the area and they welcomed her mostly everywhere we went. The local delicacies were great. Lasted longer than expected and was not an issue because time flew by pretty fast. I would recommend to anyone that would like to see the markets and areas were people actually live and work take the walking tour Gloria offers. You will not be disappointed.

This experience was well worth it. I'm originally from Jamaica but haven't been back in a very long time, so I wasn't familiar with this area. I wanted my son to engulfed in the Jamaican culture outside of tourist activities, and this was perfect. I was able to buy fruits that I longed to eat and get to know some of the locals. It felt good to be home, and this tour helped.
