What you'll do
Dive into our grandma's stories and help us with the craft making workshop.
Sit next to the nicest grannies in town you'll have the opportunity to chat with them and learn from them how to creative embroider a black and white postcard of Lisbon.
You'll see their current jobs and you'll get astonished by how much they have to share and how they where involved in Lisbon history.

About the organisation
Fermenta
We work to empower the elderly community and we're running a workshop program called “A Avó Veio Trabalhar”, dedicated to people over 60 where they can find again a regular work, learn and practice crafts such as sewing, crochet, screen printing and weaving, with the aim of producing four annual collections and workshops oh home-wear.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Fermenta .

Our workshop is located in Largo Mendonça e Costa, 10 - Penha de França ,in a familiar neighbourhood that is becoming also a trendy place for design shops and cosy cafes and restaurants.
