What you'll do
We'll take in the entire spectrum of Cartagena's architectural development. From the fortifications that kept the Spanish safe from pirates to the slave trader's mansions of the colonial period to more modern, award-winning architecture transforming the lives of the poor in the "other" Cartagena outside the city's historic walls.

Cartagena's historic old town, Getsemani and Manga. The more modern beach districts of Bocagrande. The new city being built to the north of the airport and the marginalised barrios on the other side of town.
