I am the founder of WeresieBear Adventures and one of the very few bushcraft and foraging guides that you'll find along the Wild Atlantic Way. I have decades worth of camping, scouting, military training (Irish Defence Forces) and bushcraft experience under my belt as well as being a resident on the Wild Atlantic Way. I currently live aboard a wooden yacht that I and my partner have lovingly and painstaking restored. Along with my Collie Dog, Mr. George, we're sure to entertain you!

An interesting and fun way to spend a day under trees with an engaging host. I learned new skills and had a laugh.

What a brilliant experience. I wasn't expecting it to be as fun as it was. I brought my girlfriend for her 22nd birthday and she said it was the best birthday experience she has ever had. Ye must try it before ye judge it. The host was brilliant too and can't forget about his dog!

Brilliant outdoor activity! Geff is really knowledgable and you can really feel how passionate he is about outdoor wild life. Highly raccomend to everyone - both younger and adult should try it, a really good and different day out based on team work! Well done Geff and George!

That was such a nice experience! Everything was great! Geff is so thoughtful about every single little detail. We had amazing food for lunch: seaweed burgers, guacamole made with a special seed, flower salad and a cake for dessert (everything was homemade or foraged, including the bread). We are so happy and satisfied! It is an experience for both newbies or experienced people, as you will learn and practice - you can compete too! AND YOU WILL HAVE THE COMPANY OF A VERY SWEET DOG CALLED GEORGE ♥️

A must do experience for anyone visiting Kinsale. The host Geffrey and trusted sidekick George made the day so enjoyable. It was very knowledgable and great trying all The old ways and tricks of lighting fires.
