We'll meet at Java House Koinange to get to know each other over Kenya's finest coffee. We’ll then depart for the Mbai Caves in Paradise Lost Park, about 20 minutes outside Nairobi. On site, we'll explore the caves, marvel at a 3-D waterfall and have a quick lesson in long exposure photography and strobing…

I'm a self-taught photographer based in Nairobi. I love the city's beauty, but I find myself often seeking out the adventures that live in the wild outskirts.

Where you'll be

Tools dating back to the Stone Age have been excavated in the Mbai Caves at Paradise Lost Park. More recently, they were used as a hideout by Kenya’s Land Freedom Army (Mau Mau) when fighting British colonialists for independence. The 3-D waterfall at their entrance is a sight to behold.
