About your host
My Japanese heritage and South African background give me a unique perspective on the city of Osaka. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. I look forward to sharing my love of the early morning yoga practice with you.
What we’ll do
We'll meet at my favorite yoga spot, an outdoor grassy area near Osaka Castle, for an early morning yoga class. I'll lead you in Hatha yoga, which focuses on breathing techniques and meditation to help you connect with yourself and start the day on the right foot. This casual yoga session is conducted in both English and Japanese and lasts about one hour.
What else you should know
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel and water. Tell me if you have any injuries or if you are pregnant. No sessions are held on rainy days; if it rains you'll get a full refund.

Where you'll be
The yoga session is held in a garden area among the ruins of Naniwa Palace. The palace is thought of as a strong spiritual place among locals, and it's one of my favorite places for my own practice.
