What you'll do

When all the people of the Group arrive at the winery, they have to know each other to create the right atmosphere and friendship and i'll explain how consist the wine-experience. In the beginning, will take a short walk among the vineyards and olive trees. You'll see the very old vines, around 90 years and the "baby" vines, 3 years old. After you'll discover 3 different cellars, The Vinsantaia, the place where the Vinsanto (dessert wine) is made, La Tinaia where the Chianti DOCG and SuperTuscan ferment and the last is the Barriccaia, a 300 years old cellar totally underground, where the wine age in french oak. At the end you'll taste 4 different wines with typical salami, prosciutto, pecorino cheese and homemade cantuccini cookies. If you have any food restrictions/allergy, please let me know in advance. This was a wonderful experience! Vittorio was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable about the process of wine making. We had very little knowledge about wine, and Vittorio patiently answered all of our questions and showed us around his beautiful winery. At the end, we got to try delicious wine with meat and cheese. I could not stress enough how wonderful it was to meet with Vittorio and how kind he was! I would recommend this experience to everyone.

Fattoria di Montemorli was so very beautiful and the tour was amazing! What a lovely family run winery that has so much beauty and history. Vittorio was such an amazing host! He has so much passion and knowledge for his work, it was very inspiring. After the tour we sat in a beautiful wooden house with big beautiful windows (or when it’s warmer - open air) which was situated in a perfect spot with a picturesque view of the vineyard. We were able to enjoy an afternoon of snacks and wines. The wine at Fattoria de Montemorli is exquisite! Vittorio is so personable and chatted with us the whole afternoon while we snacked and drank. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience for everyone!

Vittorio was amazing and the tour was so fun. I was with a small group of students studying in Ferrara and we decided to go to Siena for a weekend and at the last minute booked a tour with Vittorio. As students we don't have a lot of money but we wanted to splurge a little on a nice weekend and it was very much worth it! The tour was very informative and the wine and food was delicious and we left feeling full and happy (with more bottles of wine than we expected to bring back). Vittorio is very charming and welcoming and makes you feel as though you are good friends by the time you leave. The location is spectacular and it is a truly magical experience when you share it with friends or family.
