What you'll do

We'll start by finding the correct size fatbike for you to cycle. Our tour starts at the 17th century ruin of Belmont House, adjacent to Arthur's Barn (the actual film set for King Arthur the 2004 movie starring Clive Owen) both of these landmarks are in the middle of 900 acres of unspoiled forest and farmland that have been nurtured by the Brabazon family since the 16th century. We head towards the forest where a quick blast on the outdoor pump track to get your biking and balance skills dialled-in and after this it's through the Silent Bogwood forest and up onto Bray Head. From the top of Bray Head the views of Greystones to the South, Bray and Dublin to the North, across the Irish Sea towards Wales and West over the Wicklow Mountains are unparalleled. We then head back down from Bray Head to hit some groomed single track trails in the Silent Bogwood and if there's time up onto the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain as well.

I was born and raised in Africa so spending time outdoors is essential. Being able to show people around Wicklow is a huge privilege, the scenery is spectacular and the people incredibly friendly. I've been riding bikes off-road in Ireland's garden county since moving to live here from the UK over 10 years ago. Learning to ride a bike is a life skill and I think is one of the best ways to spend time with your friends and family, it's also WAY safer than cycling on the roads dodging traffic.
