What you'll do
A different lifestyle.....
8 Million visitors come to the French Quarter each year. 2,500 of us live in a different reality that overlaps. It's quite quirky and completely functional.
Behind the balconies dressed in cast-iron lace and dripping with tropical foliage are the residents of the narrow streets of a 300-year-old French Colony.
We'll talk about what each culture brought to the table. Walking from Jackson Square to the French Market the history of the French Quarter will reveal mysteries of cultures and we'll have a little fun along the way.
How did they live? How did they co-exist in such a dense design? How do we do it today?
As a licensed tour guide, I'll explain who we are and how the Quarter hasn't changed much in 300 years. The history, culture, food and all that makes us unique.
Welcome to my neighborhood.

"You are New Orleans..." I've heard this so many times in my life. Mardi Gras, Jazzfest, and all things New Orleans. Licensed Tour Guide who loves sharing my love for this unique city.
A lifetime resident of New Orleans with a family heritage that goes back 250 years in south Louisiana. I played in Jackson Square as a child and was a fulltime resident of the French Quarter for many years.

• Famous sights (such as Pirates Alley, Jackson Square, Mississippi River and residential parts of the French Quarter, ...)
