What you'll do

Come be a part of an authentic culinary experience that brings nutritious, fresh, superfood ingredients together to create delicious Indian inspired dishes. We’ll will start with marinating and grilling paneer (Indian cottage cheese). We’ll then make the main course using okra and a side of Shirataki Rice to go with it. You would get to mix, marinate, chop and stir a delicious meal with exotic Indian flavors and spices like Ghee, Turmeric, Ginger, and Garlic. The menu is thoughtfully designed to make the session engaging, fun and educational.   By the end of the class,  you'll develop new appreciation for the health benefits of traditional Indian flavors/spices and how you can use them to make delicious, yet simple healthy meals at home.

I'm a foodie with a love for Indian culture and passion for cooking! I think cooking is an art, and I'm passionate brining healthy, diverse, food and culture together. I love taking decades old traditional Indian recipes that are passed down to me by my mom and combine it with ingredients from other cultures to make nutritious low carb vegetarian meals. People new to vegetarianism are often surprised by the variety it offers both in flavors and nutrition. I've been sharing my creations with my friends and family for a while and now eager to share it with the airbnb community.

Where you'll be

We'll meet at my home, a beautiful apartment just across the Civic Center located close to 8th & Mission. It's super central and accessible by bart. For people driving- there's paid parking garage in the building. Additionally, there's metered parking on the streets nearby. We'll start the session by heading to my rooftop terrace for a glass of wine, introductions, and a beautiful view of the city. From there we'll head to the apartment and cook!

Cancellation policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 5 guests aged 18 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Alcohol

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
