What you'll do

We will bake fruit, lavender and berry scones, and spelt or brown bread.
I will bake on my side of the video, while the guest will bake at the same time at their place. Im going to do all the baking step by step with them.
I believe in the hands on experience for my guests - from handling ingredients to kneading dough.
It isn't all about the cooking, I share lots of tips from my experience over the years.
I love to see the faces full of excitement and joy at the sight of the end product - freshly baked scones and bread.
And best of all we have lots of fun.
Other things to note
Just sign in and let me entertain and educate at the same time.... it will be fun !!!

I am a restauranteur with busy cafe and luckily work close to home. I live in an area of natural beauty and really enjoy walking, hiking and exploring. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of local history with my guests. I love the natural cycle of my garden and while away many happy hours there. I do hope my guests will enjoy its beauty. I enjoy entertaining, meeting new people as well as yoga, dancing and the outdoors. I hope you will like in the West half a much as I do. x Kate

We have done several AirBnB cooking experiences. This was my favorite, by far. Kate was witty and charming and so very personable. I hope that she adds more experiences.

Great way to learn some of life's all-important skills like making sweet and savoury scones and Irish brown bread. Kate is engaging and very helpful in working online to teach these all-important recipes.

They were really good, like they came from a real bakery :)! Also she is a great host, who is really interested in you as a person! A very good experience and looking forward to new baking experiences with Kate (like an Irish stew or apple pie)!
