Hi I'm Becky, let me show you the best of Newcastle!

I'm a photographer and tour guide with a background in design and psychology. I've lived all over the world, but fell the hardest for Newcastle. I run a business helping visitors & locals uncover the secrets of this amazing and often underrated city.

Why Newcastle? The stunning city by the beach, interesting history, the coffee, small bars, art galleries, surfers walking barefoot through the CBD... but most of all, community. I want to introduce as many people as I can to the people that make this city special.

It was a pleasant experience to hear stories from someone who really loves the city. It was a very informative tour and it was helpful that she provided some additional basic information depending on my knowledge.

Becky and Victoria were very friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. We were running late, to which they both waited patiently which was greatly appreciated. We both loved the recognition and hearing all about the indigenous tribes who owned the land prior to white settlement. It was a beautiful touch and an extremely important part of Australia’s history. We loved this tour and would recommend to all visitors!

Becky was a  lively, friendly, informative guide, alert to our interests and needs. At the wharf, she was well informed about indigenous history and early settlement.  She carried pictures to illustrate her stories. Alan has an interest in the shipping and she showed us quick videos of a particular  barge. Along the way, she was mindful of keeping in the shade, finding rest spots, and took our photo against a favourite leafy lane. Coffee overlooking Newcastle Baths was welcome, before returning along Hunter St. with stories of urban renewal and the art scene. A highly recommended introduction to Newcastle.  Thank you , Becky!

We are ao glad that Becky's walking tour was the very first thing we sid when we arrived in Newcastle for the first time. Becky gave us a great insight into the town especially the indigenous history of the area and the development of the town up to the present day. We had a lovely walk and enjoyed the complementary coffee on Newcastle Beach. Highly recommended!

Becky brought a great unique depth of knowledge to grasp the sites and life of Newcastle in a bigger and better light. I thoroughly enjoyed learning of the cultural history of the area and the architecture history. Due to my sister becoming unwell I was unable to complete the last bit of the tour but overall I enjoyed the experience. I took a lot of photos and the direction of which Becky lead allowed for so photos of some hidden treasures and streets I would of never have walked in my own time. Becky brought a great accommodating personality and was able to adapt to her tour groups needs... there was a family that was part of my group and she was fabulous with adapting the content to suit all. Thank you Becky
