About your host

I'm bringing vintage back! There is always one clever cookie in the family who can lovingly create colourful, warm items to show others how much they care in a practical and tactile fashion. I love practising the age old crafts, learning new patterns and techniques. More than happy to share my skills with the aim of working on collaborative pieces to donate to Melbourne's babes in need. What we’ll do

We will meet in a trendy cafe located in Essendon. I will introduce you to the tools and fibres where, together, we can decide on your project. If you have previous experience that's great, but if you are a complete novice, just bring your passion and interest, we can still create something beautiful together! The coffee will be amazing, order something yummy from the display and spend our time…

What else you should know

Indoor café with a delightful menu. We will commune in one of the windows.

What I’ll provide

Snacks
A pastry or muffin, there will be lots to choose from to keep your energy up and hands hooking
Coffee
Tea or coffee, milkshake or lemonade... whatever takes your fancy from the menu!
Creative supplies
Crochet hook, darning needle and ball of yarn to take home. Pattern books for inspiration and to learn from. I will bring scissors, and other items needed to complete your piece.

What to bring

Bring along your own crochet work if you wish, I love to see what others are making and happy to encourage you to finish!

Where you'll be

Although the venue may vary, I am a bit of a coffee connoisseur and have a few favourite spots that I know to be cosy and conducive to conversation. If weather permits we could find a shady courtyard.
