We are excited to show you the roots of Samba and Carnival. We want to help people understand that behind this enchanted party there is a beautiful sense of community and history. Workers, children, families, and artists all gather together to put on the greatest show in the world. To be part of the Samba school is to be part of a team built on love, joy, music, and glitter.
About the organisation
G.R.C.E.S.M Pimpolhos da Grande Rio
We are the Pimpolhos of Grande Rio, a Youth Samba School and a non-governmental organization. Our goal is to promote social inclusion and educate through art, culture, and Carnival. We are based on three pillars—the Youth Parade, our essence; the Carnival School, our education and training program; and the Carnaval Experience, the organization's socioeconomic tool to foster sustainability.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to G.R.C.E.S.M Pimpolhos da Grande Rio.

Where you'll be
You'll visit the Factory, and see the making of floats and costumes for Carnival. We'll also take you into the showroom to learn more about the cultural importance of the parade and its dance.

For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 20 guests ages 7 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age.
This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
