What you'll do

A relatively easy hike featuring military fortifications and two gough batteries dated back to the British colonial period. We will start walking from Yau Tong station to the entrance of Wilson trails, which traverses 8 of the country parks in Hong Kong. At the summit, you can enjoy the lovely view of Junk Bay and the city landscape of East Kowloon side. Take your time, explore the gun pits, and the building below the gun pits at Gough Battery. After the hike, we will head down to the fishing village "Lei Yue Mun", where you can find stalls selling fresh seafood and restaurants. You will also see a little light-house, a Man-mo temple and some fishing boats at the coast. **All food and drinks are at your own expenses. You can also check the other guided eco-tours in my other experience pages! 1. Urban Walk to Sham Shui Po Hidden Garden: Flea markets, Hidden hill for concrete jungle view, Hk sweet soup place, Hk vintage shop 2. Jardine’s lookout and Mount Butler: Hk island side skyline, massive quarry, Tai Tam Reservoir

Hestia

A city dweller in HK who regularly escapes to nature in weekend. I love doing trekking, camping & mountaineering in the countryside of HK. I have hiked more than half of the trails in HK, including pristine beaches, sunset peak, suicide cliff, secret waterfalls. I'm also certified for mountain craft Level 1 from HKWTC. I would love to show you the exotic and genuine destinations that only locals know how to access! As an adventurous traveler, I always enjoy volunteering aboard and meeting the locals to share a diversity of culture. I speak 4 languages: Canton, Mandarin, English & French!

Where you'll be

We will meet at Yau Tong Station Exit A1. When we arrive at Lei Yue Mun Pier, you can choose to stay behind or head back to Yau Tong Station together.
