What you'll do

We will visit two antique markets in Mexico City. You will fall in love with the objects you will find: paintings, sculptures, clothes, lamps, antique telephones, vinyl records, Mexican masks, furniture, crafts and much more. You will have the opportunity to buy your favorites objects. We will begin the tour in an antique market located in one of the most iconic colonies of the CDMX, the Roma neighborhood. Then we will move to the second market located in the downtown area of the city. There we will spend more time due to the extension of the market. At the end we will make a stop to eat at a typical Mexican street food found there. The food will be accompanied by a traditional "michelada" (beer with spices, lemon, and sauces) that runs on our own. However you can choose the type of drink you prefer: water, soda, beer or other. Many of the objects that we will find have belonged to their owner for years, and they can tell you stories about them. By acquiring any of the objects you will have the certainty of being reusing and giving a second life to each of these relics.

During this time we have toured the City in search of clothes, accessories, furniture, and unique objects that work and / or adapt for the plays and shows that our profession demands. As artists we are interested in the origin and history that objects have to tell. We discovered that many people in the City do not know the antique markets, and we have created this tour so that together we discover these treasures. We are happy to be able to share with you these places that we know and that you can acquire some object that beautifies your home.
