What you'll do
Istanbul is one of the most important city between east and west since it was founded by the mythic leader Byzas. And The Grand Bazaar was always the commercial center of Istanbul for ages and still in service although the city has expanded and changed a lot. It is one of the world’s largest and oldest market which covers 47.000 square meter area with 60 streets and more than 3.000 shops. The 22 gates of the bazaar are opening to the old neighborhoods of the city and connect them to each other. In this tour I’ll guide you through the narrow and labyrinth-like streets of grand bazaar to get a taste of life in Ottoman-era. We’ll visit craftsmen workshops which have been in business for several generations, with the skills passed on from generation to generation. During the tour you'll have chance to discover the history, architecture, culture, food, language etc.

I have a passion for history and want to share my knowledge with other people and sure, learn from them. p.s.: This is not a travel agency tour, I am an independent person :)
