What you'll do
I'll give you a lecture on Japanese traditional seasoning, miso first. You'll know how the miso is categorized, what are the differences among them, how to choose good quality of miso, what kinds of benefit it has, what you need to keep in your mind when you eat miso, and so on. And then, we read through the recipe of miso making together over Japanese herb tea. After the sitting session, we move to the kitchen to make miso together. I will also teach you how to prepare some Japanese dishes using miso paste. We can enjoy the dinner that we made together after the lesson. This experience is held at my private home in the countryside, and the duration of the class is 6 hours.
I am a " macrobio-vegan ". I've been practicing macrobiotics over 20 years, and I'm also a vegan. I hold a teaching macrobiotic diploma from the most prestigious macrobiotic school, Lima in Japan. and I've been conducting macrobiotics and vegan classes in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore for 14 years. (Before turning to be a macrobiovegan, I conducted Japanese cooking classes in Singapore.) I can cook and teach various kinds of macrobiotic and vegan food such as Japanese traditional fermented food, Singapore food, western food, bread making and sweets making. My specialty is Japanese traditional food as my emphasis is to cook and eat locally and seasonally. And most importantly, I cook, eat and teach only plant based food as I believe that they are most compassionate diet for all the beings and the planet.
