What you'll do
Meet your guide close to the Trocadero, which offers one of the most iconic view on the Eiffel Tower. There you’ll hear about its rich history, from the sabotage that stopped Hitler from climbing to the top to the memorable jump of a parachute pioneer. From there you’ll step back from the Trocadero crowds to enter a peaceful Parisian cemetery. You’ll hear about some famous people buried there, while glancing at the Eiffel Tower between the cathedral-like graves. You’ll move on through one of Paris’ cutest and most hidden garden before getting amazing views at the Tour Eiffel that only locals know. The experience continues with the Passy area. You'll stroll through some gorgeous pedestrian streets and the local market filled with delicious local products. You’ll stop in a bakery to taste a decadently buttery pastry. You’ll move on past the former house of Balzac (one of France’s most famous writers) nestled in a lovely lane, which looks it’s being taken from a countryside village far from the heart of Paris! After a stroll through another park, you’ll enter a former 14th century monastery cellar now converted into a museum. There you’ll hear about the history of vineyards in Paris, while sipping a glass of wine. Finally you’ll head onto an iconic bridge where your experience will end with a last stunning view on the Eiffel Tower for a final photo opportunity!
Doina, Emilie, Vivien, Lena & Tim
We're a team a local Parisian working as tour guides in our beloved city of Lights! What we love? To show you Paris, its beauty and famous sights, but also to unveil some lesser known secrets of the French capital that only locals know: hidden garden, tucked-away squares and secret passages! We have all different background : Emilie a theatre director, Arthur an actor and world champion of footbag, Vivien a history bluff, Tim a writer, Doina a NGO worker, Lena & Eugenia a photographer & Paul an aircraft pilot! Despite this diversity we all share the same passion for our city of Paris!
