Glasnevin Cemetery Museum aims to promote the heritage, architecture and culture the cemetery to local and international audiences, and to support the vision of Dublin Cemeteries Committee (Glasnevin Trust) in preserving the heritage of past generations, serving the needs of the present generation and providing a legacy for future generations.

What we’ll do

The first part of your Experience is the guided tour, where you will visit the graves of Ireland’s heroines, and learn the life stories of women who played a key role in Irish history, such as Maud Gonne Mac Bride, Countess Markievicz, Elizabeth O'Farrell and Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington. This is an outdoor tour so please be prepared for all types of weather

Where you'll be

Visit the final resting places of women who shaped Ireland's history, namely Maud Gonne Mac Bride, Delia Larkin, Charlotte Despard, Madeline Ffrench Mullen, Jennie Wyse Power, Elizabeth O’Farrell, Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington and many more. You will also have the opportunity to climb the Daniel O'Connell Tower, which is Ireland's tallest round tower. Those who climb to the top will be rewarded with breath taking views of Dublin & surrounding areas.

Guest requirements

Up to 5 guests ages 18 and up can attend. There is a walking tour and lasts one and a half hours so it is advised to wear comfortable shoes.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
