I am a local Canary passionated about the outreach of astronomy in plain, wild nature. I pursued a research career in Astrophysics for over 10 years in the field of star-forming regions and the chemical evolution of the Universe. From the office I ended at the end of the world, living as an outdoor guide in Torres del Paine National Park for over a year at the great lodge of the explora company. Back to the Tenerife, I work to live my life from my hobbies: astronomy outreach, yoga and farming.

The star gazing was wonderful and quite educational. What I especially liked was how Adal involved my 9-year-old, it was very personal. Before the experience I had asked Adal three quick questions, and his answers were extensive and showed real thought that helped me a lot. A really cool experience with a really warm teacher!

This expereince was something so special, that I think we will always remember it. Adal was very nice, he seemed to be absolutally passionate about everything he explained about the Universe (and telescopes). We learned a lot and he kindly answered all our questions. We have seen stars, the Andromeda Galaxy, star clasters, the Saturn with its ring, the Jupiter and the 4 big moons of it. We also saw the Moon, we could really see the craters. I absolutally recommend this event to everyone, who wants to experience something really special and unique here in the Canary Islands. At the end, he took pictures of us with his telescope and the stars behind us! Thank you so much for this experience, dear Adal!

The activity is conducted in a relaxed way, Adal is very nice, with a LOT of experience in astronomy, and a lot of interesting stories to tell. We spent a couple of hours under a stunning night sky in a very pleasant activity. For those who are not specialists in astronomy but loves the issue, is something not to miss.

Seriously, take warm clothes! The science, storytelling and views were amazing - absolutely worth the trip up. If you're traveling from El Medano / similar direction, take the TF-1 through Costs Adeja, the TF-82, and then the TF-38 up the mountains. The TF-21 route via Vilaflor (which was Google Maps' choice) is a nightmare drive in the dark and takes way longer than Google thinks given you will never reach the speed limit.

Adal is very passionate about the universe and knows and shows a lot. Other than that he also explained how telescopes work and he showed us deep space (galaxies beyond ours and star clusters), planets and other very cool things. Adal is just a great guy and it was really fun and amazing to spend an evening with him and his telescope. Absolute great night!

What a night and what an experience. This is a MUST if you come to Tenerife for Adals tour is simply phenomenal. He is so knowledgeable, not just showing you the stars but explaining astronomy and astrology We loved all the little pieces of information that he shared with us about the night sky and how he interacted with us asking us questions to really make the learning more powerful What we saw through the telescope was simply incredible. It enabled us to see galaxies, nebulae, and a dying star AND we saw the planets too He also took a breathtaking photo for us which we will cherish! This tour is not a want to but a MUST DO as it's NOT to be missed
