What you'll do

This photo scavenger hunt is a great way for your family to go on an adventure together, while learning about the flora, fauna, animals and geology at Denver's most famous landmark: Red Rocks Park! When you arrive, you'll be greeted by your personal guide, who will introduce themselves and attendees to one another. After that, they'll hand out the scavenger hunt list, custom bandanas, and teach you the rules of the game! You'll be on the hunt for dinosaurs, hidden cacti, deer, rabbits, rocks with names like Titanic and Snapping Turtle, and more! After that, you'll scamper down to the trail and set off on a 1.4-mile adventure, featuring the smallest of elevation gains (~350 feet). Throughout the roughly 70-minute hike, the guide will stop at the locations each scavenger hunt item can be found, and share stories at each stop. The experience ends with a delicious snack in the world famous amphitheater, where you'll have time to relax and eat at your leisure. When you're finished, we'll give the kids their own postcard that they can send to someone as a way to commemorate their day, and you'll have photos and memories with your family you'll cherish for years to come.
