Sweet, comfortable, 2 bedroom cabin (480 sq ft). Sweeping views of redrock and mountains. Elevation 7100. Hardwood maple floors, wood stove. Central heat/air. Fast, stable wifi. No TV. NO kitchen, exactly, but most cooking needs met. A bit small for 4 adults. Quiet. Small outdoor patio with table and chairs. Charcoal grill. Take morning/evening walks in our little hamlet/neighborhood. Day hikes in Capitol Reef Park. Amazing star gazing at night. Local park with swings & jungle gym a block away.

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.
