Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Olvika

Relax with the whole family in peaceful and idyllic Olvika, on the mainland in Lurøy municipality only 80 km from Mo i Rana! Here you can fish and swim from the floating jetty, hike along the seashore or explore the beautiful and varied nature nearby. The cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, and an associated annex. Living room and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, covered patio, large plot, wood stove, TV and Wi-Fi. Immediate proximity to the lake and unspoiled hiking trail. Here you can enjoy yourself in all kinds of weather!

At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent, preferably on a weekly basis. The cabin is located right next to the tourist information centre in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds. Loft with 2 sleeping places. Bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet. Open-plan living room/kitchen with stove, fridge, dining table, sofa set, wireless internet and TV. Terrace with seating area and great views. We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private hot tub right by the water and an outdoor jacuzzi (included in the price). Great hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top hikes and shorter family hikes for you.

You have a beautiful view down to the sea, with access to several beautiful hiking spots. Down by the lake it is excellent to fish from the rocks while you watch the sunset in the evenings. Possibility of using a charcoal grill if desired.
