Our newly renovated cottage has been designed to meet the needs of any romantic getaway,fun friends’ trip or small family get away.Close by you will find local pubs, a village shop&Churnet Valley railway. Not too far away we have Tittesworth reservoir, Rudyard lake&The Roches’.Alton towers is just a short drive away as well. Our detached cottage, has a private driveway, the kitchen/diner is a large open space. We offer a brand new kitchen & two large bedrooms which each boast their own en-suite.

With plenty of space for 4 people to enjoy their stay on the peak of Staffordshire Moorlands surrounded by breath-taking views of the rolling hills that make the Peak District National Park, with fantastic walking and cycling routes in abundance. Once you step out of the lodge, the panoramic views of the surrounding areas offer some of the most beautiful sun rises and sunsets.

The Woodland Watch

If you are looking to have a relaxing break away from life’s stresses then The Woodland Watch is perfect. The hut is warm and cosy with all modern amenities set on a working dairy farm. Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

Very close to local amenities and a children's playground, it makes a convenient base for trips to Alton Towers, wedding venues and many beautiful locations. There is ample private parking for 3 cars or a camper van. No hen, stag or parties allowed.

The Annex

We are situated just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall. We are a 25 minute drive from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from the market town of Leek and 20 minutes from the Potteries. The annex is a self contained building standing next to our home. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. We have a number of animals sharing our lives, most of whom are very happy to welcome visitors.
