Home away from home. Secluded ,quite and relaxing get away. Everything you need. Great for hunters, vacation or just to get away. Elk Falls is a small quiet dirt road town. Home of the natural waterfall is about 10ft.high and approximately 100ft. wide. Once the site of water powered Grist mill in 1875.The falls are easily viewed from the 1893 Iron Truss bridge or hike down to the water. It's a great place for picnics,swimming,fishing and bird watching. Or just relaxing to sounds of water.

Our little Poke Daniels Lake has some of the best fishing. We are 45 minutes from El Dorado lake. There are many sites close to us. We are 45 minutes from the big Bluegrass Festival in Winfield KS. It is held in September for 3-4 days. Howard has many specialty shops and some of the best eating places you can find in these parts.

Bathroom is newly remodeled All of the home is available to guest, but one room that is closed off. THERE IS LOTS OF WALK IN HUNTING AND FISHING. Many lakes within 30 minutes of us, for boaters and skiers. We have an Ag. Museum and a doll museum that has 3500 dolls. Henry's Candy Co. (home of the O Henry Bar) is 45 minutes from us. Poke Dainels Lake is 2 miles away and has awesome fishing.
