Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. A hidden gem with stunning panoramic views
A stunning family home, set in approx 10 acres of beautiful countryside with its own private 1 acre garden. Outside, the extensive garden and grounds comprising of mainly lush green lawns, mature woodland, wild flower areas and a portion of the Carmel Water which is a tributary of the River Irvine. The garden has various sitting areas strategically positioned to catch the sun. The private driveway leads to the house and there is parking for three vehicles.

Country village cottage.
Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.
