The Jacuzzi in the garden, the walk-in rain shower, the lovely warm fireplace and, of course, the fantastic location in Boswachterij Ruinen make our guesthouse unique. Each weather type has its charm, the sun makes the forest shine and the rain makes sitting in front of the fireplace special. Relax in this unique place. The cottage has all the luxuries and comforts, such as a fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, air conditioning and a smart TV. Romance at its best! The Jacuzzi can be used at an additional cost.

Luxury Voorhuis monument - OPTION Hot tub & Sauna

The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

Thor Heste guest house

Our guest house with original old elements, is located in Gees in a centuries-old sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a double guest room with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the accommodation there are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Our cottage is situated right on the border of National Park 'Dwingelderveld'. Imagine yourself watching out over the meadows. Gazing at the star lit sky at night while enjoying a bonfire. Or spend a lovely evening inside in front of the fireplace. The cottage was recently renovated and fitted with all the amenities you could wish for. It has a fenced of spacious garden. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis, just a stone's throw from Dwingelderveld National Park. From our place, you can hike, bike and enjoy the beautiful nature of Drenthe. The detached guest house offers you privacy and tranquility. The village of Ruinen is 1.5 km away, so you are also close to a terrace, shops or restaurants. We do not offer breakfast service, your kitchen is fully equipped to take care of your inner self!

Het Twadde Hûske is a cosy, colourful apartment with a peaceful view over the meadows in Marum. Located on a quiet private road, you can enjoy complete privacy and a lovely terrace with lounge chairs. The cosy accommodation has a new kitchen and bathroom, underfloor heating and air conditioning (cooling/heating). A complete base for up to 5 people and a baby. Come here and unwind! 🫶

Escape the crowds and unwind in nature. The Naturelodge connects indoors and outdoors through large windows overlooking the heath. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub, by the fire pit or next to the wood stove. At night, watch the stars and moon through the glass roof above your bed. Spacious private garden, outdoor shower and direct access to Dwingelderveld National Park.

Cottage Jasmine has an extensive kitchen with a large stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bedroom with a double bed and a cozy living room with television and cozy pellet stove. Everything is on the same floor in the cottage. In front of the cottage, you have a cozy terrace with a south-facing garden.
