The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

You will have everything you need for an overnight stop over or longer stays. Explore the stunning local beaches & golf courses from this ideal location. Brora itself has a supermarket and many lovely cafes and shops.

A short walk takes you into Brora which boasts a beautiful beach, lovely walks, Links golf course and a host of eateries and shops to enjoy. The Old Servants Quarters at Clynelish Farm offers simple & compact but comfortable self contained accommodation. Please note: This property has a very steep & narrow staircase making it unsuitable for some people. It is accessed via its own door from the garden & has everything you need for a short break. The space has it's own kitchen, bathroom, lounge & 2 bedrooms. It has a microwave oven & plug in cooking hob for basic cooking. Unfortunately no dogs permitted.

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book.
